Straight pipe section of electromagnetic flowmeter. The installation of the electromagnetic flowmeter can ensure the length of the straight pipe section, and it can ensure the accuracy of accurate measurement. The following editor will explain the requirements of the straight section of the electromagnetic flowmeter installation:

The installation location of electromagnetic flowmeter is strict, and the straight pipe section on the installation location is also very strict. One section is installed with 5 times the diameter of the front end and 3 times the diameter of the rear section.

In order to obtain all normal measurement accuracy, the electromagnetic induction flow sensor must have a certain length of straight pipe upstream and downstream, but its length is lower than most other flow meters. 90 degree elbow, T-shaped pipe, concentric reducer, full stop valve is generally considered to be a straight pipe section that is 5 times the diameter (5D) from the electrical level axis of the electromagnetic flowmeter (not the connection surface of the controller inlet) The valve with the same opening degree needs 10D;

The downstream straight pipe section is (2 ~ 3) D or not specified; however, it is necessary to prevent the disc valve disc from protruding into the controller measuring pipe. The distances between the upstream and downstream straight pipe sections clearly stated in the standards or measurement verification regulations are also inconsistent, and the regulations are higher than the general requirements. This is because it is necessary to ensure that today's Class 0.5 precision instruments are met.

Regulations of electromagnetic flowmeters for straight pipe sections:

The electromagnetic flowmeter must be installed horizontally on the pipeline (the pipeline is skewed within 50). When installing, the flowmeter axis Verabar flowmeter line should be concentric with the pipeline centerline and the inflow should be consistent. 

The length of the upstream and downstream pipelines of the electromagnetic flowmeter should be equal to or greater than 2D, with equal diameter straight pipe sections. If the installation site permits, it is proposed that the upstream straight pipe sections be 20D and the middle and downstream pipes are 5D. 

Requirement of electromagnetic flowmeter for pipe:

The nominal diameter of the upstream and downstream pipe through the installation point of the flowmeter is the same as the inside diameter of the flowmeter. 

Regulations for the bypass valve tube of electromagnetic flowmeter:

In order to ensure that the meter does not affect all the normal application of the material during the maintenance of the flow meter, a shut-off valve (cut-off valve) should be installed in the front and rear pipelines of the flow meter, and a bypass valve pipeline should be provided. The flow regulating valve should be installed in the middle and downstream of the flowmeter. When the flowmeter is applied, the stop valve installed upstream must be fully opened to prevent the unstable fluid flow caused by the fluid mechanics of the upstream part. Regulations of electromagnetic flowmeters on environmental factors:

The flowmeter is best installed in the room. When it must be installed outdoors, the thermal insulation book must use sun protection, rain protection, and lightning protection measures to prevent endangering the service life.
