Pressure measurements include liquid and gas measurements as well as pressure measurements in some viscous, gelatinous media. Most common pressure sensors can detect pressure, but some high-risk industrial environments use media that are harmful to humans and even to machinery. For example, sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, nitric acid and alkaline sodium hydroxide, potassium hydroxide, calcium hydroxide liquid are corrosive liquid.
