    Description

    Manufacturer Flange Resilient Seated Gate Valve is composed of an electric actuator and a gate valve body. The gate is controlled by the power supply pressure to move up and down in a straight line to connect or close the fluid medium in the pipeline. The applicable pressure, temperature and caliber range is very large, especially suitable for medium and large diameter pipelines. Electric gate valves can be divided into many series, and the actuators are on-off type and intelligent type. The structural form is very changeable. When selecting the model, users should be familiar with the preparation instructions of the electric gate valve model to avoid problems such as choosing the wrong model, placing the wrong order, and unknown technical parameters causing replacement and return.

     

    Working principle

    As the name implies, electric gate valves use electric actuators to control gate valves. They are mainly divided into upper and lower parts. The upper part is the electric actuator and the lower part is the gate valve. The actuator and the gate valve are connected, and the electric actuator controls the gate valve to open and close to achieve the on-off of the pipeline medium. Gate valves are generally suitable for on-off occasions and are normally open and closed valves. If the working conditions require adjustment, electric regulating valves, electric ball valves, electric butterfly valves, electric globe valves, etc. are generally selected.

    Diverse needs

    The process technology sites of supporting pipelines and automated valves are all over the world. Not only the site and valve type are important factors in the selection of electric actuators, but also the climate environment of on-site operation is crucial.     In process technology, liquids, gases, steam and particles need to pass through pipelines. Actuators are remotely controlled from the control room to operate industrial valves, controlling the flow rate by opening and closing the valves to inhibit or release the pipeline medium.

     

    The typical representative of multi-turn valves is gate valves. They require the actuator to output multiple turns in the full stroke from fully closed to fully open (or from fully open to fully closed). Control valves are typically used for linear operation. At the same time, some specific valves are operated by levers.
