WRE-530 WRE-520 WRE-521 WRE-522 WRE-523 assembly thermocouple, structure of Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitor (CD): A polar aluminum electrolytic capacitor is made by winding an aluminum foil (positive electrode) with an oxide film and a pad of electrolyte impregnated with a cathode (negative electrode) foil. Packages are tube and vertical. There are blue or black plastic sleeves outside the aluminum case.
Advantages: Large capacity range, generally 1 ~ 10 000 μF, rated operating voltage range is 6.3 V ~ 450 V.
Disadvantages: large dielectric loss and large capacity error (maximum allowable deviation + 100%, –20%)
Poor high temperature resistance, prone to failure when stored for a long time.
Uses: It is usually used for filtering, decoupling, signal coupling, time constant setting, and DC blocking in DC power circuits or low and medium frequency circuits. Note: Cannot be used in AC power circuits. When used as a filter capacitor in a DC power supply, the polarity cannot be reversed.
