What is a pressure transmitter?

The application of pressure gauges is extremely common, and it covers almost all industrial processes and scientific research fields. It can be seen everywhere in the fields of heat pipe networks, oil and gas transmission, water supply and gas supply systems, vehicle maintenance and repair shops. Especially in the process of industrial process control and technical measurement, because of the high mechanical strength and easy production of elastic pressure sensitive elements of mechanical pressure gauges, mechanical pressure gauges have become more widely used.

The differences between pressure transmitters and pressure gauges are:
1. The accuracy of the standard instrument required for pressure transmitter calibration is much higher than the standard instrument accuracy required for pressure gauges.
2, the pressure gauge only needs to verify the pair of input-output relationship, and the pressure transmitter may need to verify the relationship between input and communication data.
3. Pressure gauge calibration must have corresponding measurement qualification. Pressure transmitters are generally not required except for production plants and new construction.
4. The accuracy of the pressure gauge is poor, there is no output, you can not use the hand-held device, generally check 5 points, the difference is different. The intelligent pressure transmitter generally only needs to verify the zero point and the full scale.
5. The output of the pressure gauge is a scale indicator, which has its own display capability. The pressure transmitter is a current output, which must be connected to the ammeter of the corresponding accuracy level.
From the above description, it is not difficult to see that the pressure value measured by the pressure transmitter is more accurate under the same working conditions, and the later function expansion is much higher than that of the pressure gauge.
